Talking in confidence with a qualified counsellor can help you:
Explore thoughts with an unbiased party.
Develop strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, loss and trauma.
Understand how past issues may be continuing to impact daily life, and find a resolution to feelings of hurt so that you can move on.
Raise self-esteem and self-confidence, leading to feeling more comfortable, with yourself and your place in the world.
Increase ability in making choices and decisions, reducing self-doubt and fear.
Improve your relationships with others, expressing yourself more effectively and being heard.
Forgive yourself and others.
It is important that you feel safe and supported in the counselling process. Many people feel concerned talking about their troubles and disclosing issues that they generally hide from other people and even themselves. Counselling is non-judgemental and offers unconditional respect and acceptance for the client.
I offer a confidential and caring service carried out with a high degree of professionalism meeting standards set by the BACP and Professional Standards Authority.
